I'm a science fiction and fantasy author. I write the Broken Kaskea Series and the Major Ariane Kedros Series. The Broken Kaskea novels are gunpowder-and-sorcery fantasy, while the Major Ariane Kedros novels are military science fiction with a bit of space opera (or is it the other way around?) I'm a former U.S. Air Force officer and I try to bring realistic command and control structures to my fiction. While in the Air Force, I had the opportunity to escort Soviet Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty inspectors. My civilian jobs have ranged from Research Chemist to Software Development Lead.
