Yaba Baker

Yaba Baker is an author, an award-winning scriptwriter, and a public speaker. "The Just Like Me Books", his black history activity books have received media attention from BET, Channel 9 News, The Washington Post, Upscale Magazine, five nationally syndicated radio shows, and over 70 media publications from around the country. Yaba has followed up his successful book series with a successful book tour with the "Princess Briana" fairytale.

In 2013, Yaba Baker compiled his successful speeches and one-day workshops that inspired over 2,500 at-risk African American teenagers spanning 25 years into a book that helps at-risk teens to critically think and make better decisions entitled "Breaking the Mental Chains of Black Teenagers."

Yaba's latest book, "The Adventures of Super CJ" combines the superhero genre with humor and life lessons has received a rave review by a Publishers Weekly reviewer. Yaba plans to release two new books in 2021 and 2022.
