Midge Wilson

Dr. Midge Wilson earned a B.A. in psychology from the University of Virginia, a M.S. degree from Old Dominion University, and in 1979 a PhD from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) in the field of social psychology. In 1980 she was hired as an assistant professor in psychology at DePaul University in Chicago. By the time she retired in 2014, Dr. Wilson was serving as an Associate Dean in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and is now an Emeritus Professor of Women's and Gender Studies / Psychology. Her scholarly interests were in the areas of gender, race, lookism and stereotyping. In 2018, she moved from Chicago to New Smyrna Beach, FL.
