Jonathan Carriel possesses a BA and MA in History from New York University. He lives in New York City and has spent decades supporting computer networks in each of its boroughs. As a recreational sailor, he has cruised the United States east coast and the Caribbean, sailed from North Carolina to St. Thomas, traversed the English Channel and the Aegean Sea, and crossed the Atlantic. He serves as the Secretary-Treasurer of the American Revolution Round Table of New York.
Exquisite Folly is his fourth novel, continuing the series of Thomas Dordrecht mystery and adventure stories that began with Die Fasting, Great Mischief, and If Two Are Dead. Each novel will take place in the context of a specific historical year in the turbulent second half of the eighteenth century--the decades of the industrial, American, French, and Haitian revolutions.
He invites his readers to visit www.JonathanCarriel.com, where they will find further material to pique their curiosity about the era, in addition to maps, photographs, genealogies, and text expanding upon these fictions.
