Phyllis Harrison was born in the Adirondack Mountains of rural New York State, not very far from the Canadian border. She graduated from Syracuse University and continued post-graduate studies in finance before giving in to her lifelong passion, writing.
With both her interest and ancestry reaching back into 17th century Massachusetts and New York States, Ms. Harrison sees many of today's challenges as relevant to past American and world history.
When she's not at the ocean or in the mountains, she can be found searching through the ancient records of county courthouses or digging through old microfilms for facts, information and revelations about the past.
