Bio-Doug Hiser
Doug Hiser is a signature member of Artist for Conservation, the top Wildlife Artists from 30 countries, is an author of 25 books, including Amazon bestsellers, The Honey Bee Girl and Montana Mist. He travels the globe, from Africa to Australia, in search of the wild beasts that he paints. Teaching High School Arts, after years of research, he has developed an art history program the Amazon book, Teaching Art History in the HS Classroom. Judging art shows, art demos and painting murals and public art, among some of the notable pieces, the Santa Fe Indians Ten Feathers mural at City Hall commemorating the people who lost their lives in the tragic event, and this year’s Houston Rodeo Boot, “Rodeo Bulls” displayed at NRG stadium. He once claimed fame on the America Gladiators TV Show and is most proud of his University of Houston Distinguished Alumni Award.
