Jacob Orshalick’s software development career spans over two decades. After spending several years in academia as a PhD research assistant, he realized his passion was building software that solved real-world problems. Since then, he has spent over 18 years as an independent consultant building software solutions for startups, Fortune 500 companies, and organizations of all sizes in between. He has numerous publications and has won awards for his open source contributions. He regularly speaks at conferences and user groups to contribute his knowledge back to the community.
