Moonstone Star White is a mystical visionary and a spiritual maverick. With graceful candor and impeccable honesty she translates the experiential data of her life into spiritual wisdom anyone can easily grasp and utilize.
At the age of 25 she had a spontaneous and life-altering experience of spiritual ecstasy and profound insight while gazing at the rays of a dawn sunrise sparkling across ripples of water in a desert stream. To describe it in her own words:
"I was simply enjoying the beauty of a spectacular spring morning by taking a walk and had stopped along a canal to enjoy the sunrise. As I watched the sunlight begin to dance across the movement of the water, I felt my essence 'fall into it'. In those moments I knew without a shred of doubt the nature of our essential being-ness, what some would call Nirvana or the Kingdom of Heaven. My inner spirit welled euphoric, like a geyser exploding to the surface of awareness and dispersing into a sea of indescribable and endless bliss.
"When the realization 'This is it!' found its way into my consciousness, I felt myself plummet like a rock to the more familiar recognition of my surroundings. In my desire to hold on to that experience, I also knew the humbling reality that is the hallmark of human experience. In the flash of a few moments I had experienced both the wisdom and peace that surpasses all worldly understanding and the devastation of knowing our separation from The One, the classic fall from grace."
In the years following she pursued as many avenues of personal growth and spiritual transformation as time and money would allow. Over the years she experienced many profound spiritual realizations. She began journaling realizations and ideas in the early 1990s, and as a coherent message began to form she developed a habit of "sourcing" information in what she calls "stream of consciousness writing" in the early morning hours. This combined body of work became the material for "High Way From Hell".
Both a writer and a poet by nature, she is also an artist, a certified hypnotherapist, ordained minister and licensed massage therapist. As a spiritual intuitive with a questioning mind, deepening her understanding of the fundamental nature of existence has been the passion of a lifetime. She is board certified and a member of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and the National Guild of Hypnotists. She became certified in massage therapy and aromatherapy at the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins, Colorado, a school that integrates the importance of spiritual and emotional well-being into its curriculum. She received her ministerial ordination through the Universal Life Church, which respects the unique and personal nature of spiritual experience.
With chameleon-like versatility, Moonstone has moved through a diverse collage of occupations in her exploration of life. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in journalism from Iowa State University, where she worked her way through school as a bartender. After graduating, she was a successful free-lance artist for over 15 years. Since then she has pursued work in massage therapy, spiritual energy healing, aromatherapy and worked for several years as a real estate broker. Today she practices massage and hypnosis, and continues to work as an artist. Her artwork has shifted from painting to creating fine jewelry with her husband, which they sell at fine art and craft festivals.
With a vision both intimately personal and significantly global, her philosophy asserts that the tendency to think with emotions rather than feel them diminishes happiness by shutting down intuition and cutting us off from our spiritual natures.
Today she is spreading the message in her book, and is focused on helping others discover the freedom and intuition that lies within their own hearts.
