Lord Dr. Jonathan M. Jackson, Sr., hereinafter, “Jonathan,” earned his juris doctorate in 1980, and is a direct descendent of Sir John de Lascelles Jackson, Sir William de Lascelles Jackson, Sir John Richard Jackson, Sir Anthony Jackson, I, Sir Kelso Hind-England, Sir Anthony Jackson, II, Sir Anthony Todd Jackson, and Sir John Jackson, all Knights in England. Sir Anthony Jackson (1599-1666) supported King Charles I, and when Cromwell’s forces captured the king, was incarcerated in the Tower of London, until the monarchy was restored in 1660. Somewhat surprising is Jonathan is also related to George Washington through his half-brother Lawrence Washington, and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson is his great uncle, 6 generations, ago.

Jonathan has written several novels and collections of short stories, as well as non-fiction histories, including the following: The Return to Brickendon Manor, Terror Times Thirteen, Terror Times Thirteen Volume II, I Rode with Morgan, The Last Confederate Coin, and The Raids of John Hunt Morgan. He is currently working on an expanded 20-year anniversary edition of I Rode with Morgan, as well as the sequel to The Return to Brickendon Manor, called The Troubled Peace.
