I'm an author, U.S. speaker, and computer consultant. I first got interested in computers because they had an "Escape" key. How bad could they be? I launched Computer Clarity in 1996, a consulting practice where I share my philosophy of learning and enthusiasm for technology with over 250 clients.

I wrote "Computer Ease" to bridge the gap between people and computers. I've also published over 100 articles on business and technology topics nationwide. I'm a national speaker at conferences on technology, writing and publishing, and a prolific blogger.

My newest book "Social Media Handbook" explains the phenomenon of social networking, where it came from and how to cope. My 2007 book "Release Your Writing: Book Publishing Your Way," sustains and educates people making the transition from Writer to Author! The next book coming up is about blogs.
