Doug Fleener

Doug Fleener is an author, speaker, and advisor who helps leaders, business owners, and high performers create immediate change and faster growth.

He is the author of The Decided Day: A Daily Practice for Faster Change and Growth, the small book for big change, as well as The Day Makes the Year, Start With What If, and The Profitable Retailer.

Doug’s work centers on a simple idea: meaningful change doesn’t have to begin with a major overhaul. It can begin today, with a few intentional decisions about how you will show up, what matters most, and what you will do next.

His own life reflects that belief. After struggling with addiction, unemployment, and financial hardship as a young man, Doug rebuilt his life one day at a time. That journey eventually led to executive leadership roles, including serving as Director of Retail at Bose Corporation and as CEO of a national company.

For more than thirty years, Doug has helped people close the gap between who they intend to be and how they actually show up. His practical, identity-first approach helps people gain clarity, focus on what matters, and turn intention into meaningful action at work, at home, and within themselves.

Doug’s insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Fast Company, and Inc.

He lives outside Boston with his wife, Joanna, and proudly holds the title of “Greatest Dad,” a three-time award winner.
