Karen Whiting

Karen speaks to many groups of women and moms as well as mother-daughter events to share laughter and stories, on topics ranging from building strong relationships, managing time, to appreciating the contributions of women of faith in our history. She speaks to children's ministry leaders and families to inspire them to engage children in prayer and use crafts to spread kindness and encouragement.

Her inspirational craft books for girls come from fun she had raising her daughters and sons. The newest one on paper crafts includes games, decorations, holiday gifts, and mobiles, plus 21 STEAM lessons to discover the intersection of art with math, science, and technology.

New releases include Growing a Peaceful Heart, Growing a Joyful Heart, 52 Weekly Devotions for Family Prayer, Devos for Brave Boys, The Super-Sized Book of Bible Gift Crafts, and Growing a Mother's Heart Bible Study companion guide, and Growing a Peaceful Heart.

Her next releases will be a baby board book Busy Busy Jesus.

Karen Whiting is an international speaker, award winning author, and former television host. Karen loves to splash creativity and faith on pages as she writes. She writes to strengthen and grow wholesome families.

Karen's newest five books all won Golden Scroll awards. 52 Weekly Devotions received the Golden Scroll Educational Book of the Year., and the Super-Sized Book of Bible Craft Gifts, coauthored with her daughter Rebecca White, took second place. Her book Growing a Mother's Heart won the Golden Scroll Bible study of the Year. Her book, Growing a Mother's Heart won a golden scroll award in the devotion category, and her book My Princess Devotions, won the Christian Retailing Best Award for children's nonfiction. Her book, Stories of Faith and Courage from the Home Front won the Military Writer Society of America Gold Medal, faith category and the Golden Scroll Non Fiction Book of the Year.

Future books will include board books for babies and toddlers and a book on Bible archeology for kids with artifacts and digs paired to the biblical accounts and hands on activities to understand archeology and the significance of the discoveries.
