S. Kelley Harrell

Kelley Harrell is an award-winning author held by Tuscarora, Woccon, and Sissipihaw land. A lifelong animist and deathwalker, she is the founder of Soul Intent Arts. For almost 30 years she has taught others to ethically tend thriving spiritual paths. Through everyday animism, ecosystem, and the Elder Futhark runes, she teaches others to engage their well Ancestors and unique spiritual paths in support of their unquiet dead, fellow humans, and peaceful coexistence with spirits of place. Her work fosters boots-on-the-ground animistic community engagement and real world application of soul tending in the everyday: elder well, die well, ancestor well.

Kelley is author of "From Elder to Ancestor," and "Runic Book of Days," a 2019 Nautilus Book Award winner. She writes "The Weekly Rune," hosts the podcast "What in the Wyrd,", and mentors the "Runes for Change" membership community, an animistic gathering of folx weaving the wisdom of the runes with the whispers of the land.
