Rebecah Propst

Rebecah (Beki) Propst was born in Sterling, Colorado, in December of 1950. An intelligent student, she earned a BS in Business Administration. She became a successful professional with an adventurous private life.

Sometime around her 40th birthday, she started having grand mal seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. Seven years later, just before her 47th birthday, her seizures were controlled. But...she found she remembered nothing of her life prior to that time.

Absent Memories: Moving forward when you can't look back, is her story of the first nine years of her remembered life. It describes what she did to survive without benefit of 47 years of practical knowledge, formal education or work experience.

Since her book was published, she's been featured in local and regional newspapers, (including the Sunday Denver Post.) She's been interviewed on radio and television (most recently, on Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer,) and has spoken to various groups and conventions throughout a four-state area. Colorado is still her home.
