Erik Hawkinson

For several years, Erik has been archiving life around him with a creative flair. He has been tying poetry in with the images they portray. One of his first projects was creating original "photoetry", a result of creating photos and writing poetry that convey elements of the world we share, but do not always share aloud. From inspirational verses to visual images that are reflective of everyday moments in extraordinary chapters.

From short stories via social networking to blogs, songs and screenplays, Erik's expanding imagination is not always bound by one single medium. His first book, an exploration of photos and their autobiographical verses, "Journey of a Thousand Words" was released to positive reviews. His first fictional story, scheduled for early 2014, delves beyond the rhythm of Photoetry and beats to the sounds of ageless stories in aging worlds.
