Carlisle Bergquist

Carlisle Bergquist was born in Salina, Kansas and moved Hollywood to follow his passion for songwriting and performance. Thirty years ago you would have found telling tales with a guitar in his hand. Today he wears a lot of different hats. Back in Kansas, you may find him in his vineyard herding grapes, at the computer writing and designing, in the studio developing Vantage Quest--a brain activation sound technology, or listening carefully to clients in his family therapy practice. He creates in many different ways.

The Coyote Oak: Burgeoning Wisdom, his first novel published in 2007, is a modern-day parable with an ecosophical theme that depicts the challenges endured when ancient spiritual truths buck up against contemporary culture.

Carlisle's latest creation is 10 Billion Beats - a global intention event that uses shamanic drumming to send a wave of positive intention around the world each year. The next 10 Billion Beat is Sept. 21 & 22 2012.
