Jim Fuller

Jim Fuller was born in 1928 at the home of his grandmother about two miles west of White Sulphur Springs, Montana. The early years of his life spanned the great depression of the 1930's so he had plenty of experience with hard times although, as he was growing up, he thought that was just the way life was and didn't realize that it could be much better until later in life. Most of his childhood was without electricity, telephone, television, running water, smog, traffic lights or income taxes. His formal education took him through high school but, like his father before him, he learned by absorbing knowledge from the world around him as well as from specialized schools in the U.S. Army and with International Business Machines. His life was spent in the use, care and repair of things mechanical, electrical and electronic and to that he added woodworking in his later years. He and his wife, Fay, owned and operated a motel and auto repair business for ten years besides creating and repairing many items made of cloth, wood, and steel throughout their sixty years of marriage.

Jim has completed and published his fourth book at the age of 83. While they are all stand-alone stories but they all have connections to each other. In order to get the greatest enjoyment from them, he suggests starting with the first one which is 'SOCKS' and then reading 'Marty's Mom'. Then read 'Mister Marty' which is the third one. MARTY'S TOWN is also available now.

Although he hasn't had much luck in getting his readers to submit reviews, (they are all too modest) many of them are very enthusiastic about his writing and several readers have given him standing orders for his next books, sight unseen!
