Angelo Micheletti

Angelo Micheletti started developing his skills with photography at an early age. His father was an avid 8mm movie enthusiast and hardly a day went by when he wasn't making a movie about something that was going on. We've come a long way technically in the last 40 years, but he finds the desire to capture a beautiful scene is just as intense now as it was when he was growing up.

Combining those skills with a natural curiosity about all things technical and a writing skill that developed over the years has led him to do commercial Macintosh programming, create and present advanced level programming courses for Apple and other companies, immerse himself in iPhone software development and, in his spare time, write the "iPhoto '09 For Dummies" book published by Wiley in March 2009. He is currently working on "iPhone Photography For Dummies" which will be published in the Fall of 2010.

He has attended a number of photography and computer courses and seminars and received his MBA from St. Mary's College in California.

He currently lives in one of the most beautiful areas in the country, Bend, Oregon. He also lives on a golf course which means that any leftover time is spent in the pursuit of a non-technical goal - a hole in one, which has so far been very elusive.
