Thomas B. Clarke

Tom Clarke is an author of non-fiction Christian books. He particularly loves digging through the Scriptures, finding nuggets that others may have missed.

For example, his internet series "What is a Chiasm (or Chiasmus)" has been viewed by many. After Tom was exposed to chiastic structures in 2001, he made it his goal to help make this concept more widely known. That goal is being achieved daily through that internet series and his book "Joshua's Spiritual Warfare: Understanding the Chiasms of Joshua."

The nuggets in his book on Proverbs are revealed through the extensive categorization of that book. And his gem "A Garden of Love" is a profound look at love through the lens of thirty perennial flowers and related New Testament verses.

He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in mathematics, engineering and business administration. A man with many diverse interests, his love for literature developed after he was born again. While he has taken college level courses in Biblical studies, his personal search for Bible-related nuggets has well exceeded that academic course work.

Tom retired from secular work in 2012. He is currently working on a new series of books about literary structure in the Bible. Using the term "Pattern Analysis," Tom's focus is to hear the emphatic voice of the Holy Spirit from Genesis to Revelation.

His life verse is "What is important is faith expressing itself in love" (Galatians 5:6b).
