Pedro Alberto Vera was born in the U.S. Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in 1971. He attended (served time?) in the public school system and the School of Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico (Mayaguez), where he studied Mechanical Engineering. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science from the State University of New York at Albany.
After college Pedro served with the United States Army Space Command, where he received a Honorable Discharge in 1997.
Pedro is currently a web applications developer in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and spends too much time online. His first two novels are the result of his participation in the National Novel Writing Month competition that runs every November 1st to 30th.
Pedro, not having a real life, has been blogging since well before blogging was considered to be cool or the thing to do. He still writes on a daily basis and hopes to publish his next book as soon as he puts down his videogame controller.
