AUDREY HANDER - (Author) Blessed with the innate talent of being able to write for many voices, Audrey became everyone's designated writer early on, scholastically undertaking a preponderance of writing courses and workshops before earning her BA degree with a full concentration in fiction writing. For many years she worked with children in the underserved community of NYC. Audrey is a full member of the SCBWI.

JENNA ROBBINS - (Creative Designer) - Jenna fashioned the concept and the Murphdog characters after her own real live, Register Trademarked, Murphdogs. In conjunction with running her own dog training business, Jenna also writes a pet advice column for a New York magazine. Additionally, she raises royal Standard Polka Dotted Poodles, who appear as the "Kahunas" in the Murphdog adventures. To her credit she has rescued numerous dogs and nursed them back into fully functioning, healthy adults.

The native New York sister team collaborated to create adventure stories by enmeshing their care and understanding of kids and dogs. Their aim is to bring kids together through shared, common interests as their stories promote tolerance through appropriate communication, by way of intervention. The adventures are in synch with kids' perceptions of how to handle conflicts and problems, always begging for the right answer to the question: "What would you do if . . . ?"

Murphdog & Company also has a product line that includes a plush Murphy Murphdog (Must-Hava-Murph(tm)) look alike, also called "LA." The sisters claim that the best and most frequent compliment given (when people first see "LA") is: "For a minute there, I thought that dog was a fake!"
