Lisa Lehr

Lisa J. Lehr's passion for the written word has guided her life. Throughout her school years, she found English an enjoyable and easy subject. Then, having earned all her college English credit through the Advanced Placement Program, she went on to receive a biology degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After working in a variety of fields, including the pharmaceutical industry and teaching, she began freelance writing in 1999.

A big believer in continuing education, Lisa is a graduate of the American Writers and Artists Institute (AWAI) copywriting program. She holds majority credit toward a certificate from Central California Bible Institute and returned to school for a time to study graphic art. Her latest subject of interest is public speaking.

Lisa has hundreds of articles and several short stories and essays to her credit, has co-written autobiographies for private clients, and has edited many kinds of projects for business clients. She now focuses on copywriting and creating information products, specializing in the alternative health, pet care, and self-help niches.

A dedicated community volunteer, Lisa has held lay leadership roles in both adult and children's ministries; volunteered with children, animals, literacy, and numerous other causes; and raised a Guide Dog puppy. When she's not busy writing, she enjoys reading, doing artwork, listening to music, studying Italian, being outdoors, and attending Renaissance Faires and Celtic Festivals.

She's listed in Marquis' Who's Who in America 2005(R), the definitive source of biographical information on America's leaders and achievers, and Who's Who of American Women 2006(R).
