Jennifer Liu Bryan is the author of Cole Family Christmas, a holiday tale based on a true family story told by her grandmother-in-law, Hazel Cole Kendle. In 2008, Cole Family Christmas was named the Gold winner of the Mom's Choice Awards for Historical Fiction, ages 5-12. It also received a Silver award for best holiday book, and a Gold award for best book marketing from the Independent Publishers Book Awards.
Jennifer is also the author of Hilda, A Very Loyal Goat, a picture book for early readers illustrated by Jenniffer Julich.
As the mother of two children, Jennifer is passionate about reading aloud as a family. That's why she's joined with ReadAloud.org, a family-run non-profit that works to promote the cause of families reading aloud together. And Jennifer isn't the only one who is excited about reading aloud: Her hero Hilda has also become the "spokesgoat" for ReadAloud.org.
