Bobbie O'Keefe

Bobbie O'Keefe has had a book in her hands whenever possible since she learned how to read. Blessed with a rich imagination, she started making up characters and plots in her mind when she was just a kid and didn't even have a typewriter. She grew up, but she never grew out of that imagination. Eventually she put down on paper some of all that stuff that was taking up so much room in her head (with a pencil, eraser, and a steno pad) and then she read it back to herself, and she thought, hmm. It took a while to attract the attention of an agent, and another while to actually SELL a book, but it finally happened.

Her interests are varied and she writes what she likes to read. Each one of her books, regardless of its genre, has a touch of romance, comedy, mystery, and suspense.

She grew up on the west coast within walking distance of the mighty Pacific, so it was part of her childhood, and also has a starring role in some of her books. She now lives within driving distance of the ocean, visits as often as she can, and she always has to go wading.
