I really retired 16 years ago to concentrate on my golf game but I found I needed something else to keep me busy. A creative writing course at our local library convinced me to try and adopt the writing skills developed in fifty years of creating business proposals and technical papers into trying my hand with a novel. I hope that my readers enjoy reading these Roy Neely novels as much as I have enjoyed creating them. In our family, we believe it's never too late to start a new career so I will keep writing.
