A lifelong storyteller, Sedonia knew she wanted to be an author from the age of six, when the school librarian had to limit the number of books she could check out each week. At sixteen, a short story earned honorable mention from the League of American Pen Women, confirming the path she already knew she would follow.

Her work has received recognition across multiple genres. *His Beautiful Samurai* was nominated for a Gaylactic Spectrum Award and has been taught in a college LGBTQ+ literature course. *Men of Tokyo: Sudden Bliss* received a Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention, and *Lady of Two Lairds* was a finalist for several romance awards.
