Susan Ketchen

Susan Ketchen is the author of the "Born That Way Series", which features a 14-year old girl born with two afflictions: she has the genetic condition Turner Syndrome (which is treatable), and she is a horse nut (which is not).

Susan Ketchen pursued a curious range of careers, including a decade as a marriage and family therapist, before turning her attention to novel writing. Her short stories have been published in Miss Chatelaine magazine, and articles about therapy appeared in The Journal of Strategic and Systemic Therapies.

Her young adult novels reflect her ongoing interest in health, family dynamics, horses and humor.
