Chris Dudley

Chris Dudley was the first known player to have diabetes and play in the

National Basketball Association. During his 16 year career Dudley became a role model for people with and without diabetes. He and his wife, Chris started the Chris Dudley Foundation(www.chrisdudley.org)in 1993, which is devoted to advocating for individuals and families affected by diabetes. Since retiring from professional basketball in 2003, Dudley has become an internationally recognized speaker. He also continues to be an outspoken advocate for diabetes. www.chrisdudley.org
