I am an author living and working in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. My wife and I have been married for nearly thirty years, and we have six children.

To get "the question" out of the way, I will answer it now: I get the ideas out of my head. The real question isn't where writers get ideas, it's what non-writers do with all of theirs.
