Zaria Garrison is the pen name of award-nominated Christian fiction author Gena Garrison Bunch, a Greenville County, South Carolina native who began writing as a teenager. Her writing journey began with her first novel, Baring It All, published in 2005 under her birth name, Gena L. Garrison.
A former Black Expressions bestselling author, Zaria has captivated readers with faith-filled stories of family, forgiveness, love, and redemption. Her debut novel, Prodigal, was nominated for Christian Fiction Book of the Year by SORMAG (Shades of Romance), and Zaria was also nominated for Christian Fiction Author of the Year. Her novels Losing It, Faking Reality, and Nobody's Son have continued to build her reputation as a powerful voice in Christian fiction.
After years of traditional publishing, Zaria continues to create inspirational stories through her own publishing ventures. Her recent works include The Hammond Sisters: A Gospel Legacy, a story of faith, family, and the enduring power of love and forgiveness.
