Jaspreet Singh

Jaspreet's current and future research interests are focused on the characterization and utilization of future generation of carbohydrates. At Riddet institute (Massey University), a New Zealand government funded Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE), Jaspreet currently leads several research projects on starches, cereals and potatoes. Before joining Riddet Institute, he worked at Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA), France and Kansas State University, Manhattan (KS), USA.

Jaspreet is the editor of a book entitled "Advances in Potato Chemistry and Technology" published by Elsevier/Academic Press (USA) in June 2009. Jaspreet has published several research papers, review articles, several book chapters and presented his research work at international conferences. Jaspreet is the reviewer for nearly 14 international journals, funding proposal reviewer for Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), Canada, and review book proposals for Taylor & Francis, CRC Press (USA) and Elsevier/Academic Press (USA). In 2006, Jaspreet was awarded College Research Award-Early Career by Massey University, New Zealand in recognition of his research.
