Aman Behal

Dr. A. Behal's background is in the area of Controls and Robotics. He currently concentrates on human machine interaction issues related to assistive robotic devices. After finishing his Ph.D. in December 2001 at Clemson University, he worked for a year and a half at Clemson as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Bioengineering before joining the Electrical Engineering Department at Clarkson University as a tenure-track assistant professor. In Fall 2006, he moved to the University of Central Florida in Orlando where he holds a joint appointment with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the NanoScience Technology Center. He has published 28 journal articles and two research monographs. His publications are in high quality engineering journals such as IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, Automatica, IEEE Control Systems Technology, IEEE Transactions on Man, Systems, and Cybernetics, Robotica, Journal of Robotic Systems, and International Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing among others. Currently, he serves as an Associate Editor on the IEEE Control Systems Society Conference Editorial Board.
