M R Bain

M. R. Bain was born in a small southwestern Idaho town that was settled by his great grandparents. Raised in an agriculture community whose principal crops were cattle, sugar beets and children, he has been around horses all of his life. His first horse was given to him when he was four years old. It was a three year old Thoroughbred filly that his father rescued from a railroad car headed to the meat market.

While in college, he was exposed to a world of horses that he has participated in all of his adult life. His most lasting love has been the horses in his care.

He learned the hard way how to have a successful horse business. He is considered by his peers to be an expert on horse business management and he now shares that with you in this book.

His articles about horse business management have appeared in the Quarter Horse Journal, Paint Horse Journal, Spotted Saddle Horse News,Pinto Horse Magazine, POA Magazine and 30 regional horse publications from Florida to Alaska and East to West Coast since 1994.
