ABIOLA ABRAMS is a New York-born award-winning author, obsessed with writing love-soaked, magic-kissed stories about ancestral power, desire, identity, and women remembering who they were born to be.

Abiola has been a writer since childhood, when she turned her toy stove on its side and declared it her first desk.

An intuitive and oracle card creator, she was born to Guyanese parents and has Bajan and African heritage. Raised by a minister of spiritual practices rooted in African spirituality, Abiola learned early to honor the seen and unseen worlds and to trust intuition as sacred guidance.

Abiola has led Goddess Circles everywhere from her Harlem living room to international retreats.

Her first novel, DARE, was published by Simon & Schuster. She is also the author of the bestselling spiritual and personal development books AFRICAN GODDESS INITIATION, FROM IMAGINATION TO REALITY, and THE DIVINE FREQUENCY. Abiola is the creator of AFRICAN GODDESS RISING ORACLE, FACES OF OSHUN ORACLE, and SECRETS OF THE ANCESTORS ORACLE.

Abiola studied sociology and creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College and holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
