Beth Tierney

Writer, Beth Tierney and her photographer husband, Shaun, live in the UK. "Our love of all things underwater began during a round the world trip in the 80s. By the time we reached Indonesia we were hooked. We returned to London, qualified then headed to the Maldives. On our first dive, we came face-to-face with a whitetip shark. It was the start of a love affair that has influenced our lives ever since. In the 90s, we spent another incredible year exploring many of the world's most exciting diving regions and more recently have revisited these places for our guide books Diving the World and Diving Southeast Asia.
