Robert Stump

Robert Stump grew up on a ranch high in the Colorado backcountry far from the hustle and bustle of modern society. His ties to primitive Colorado lifestyle and Native American heritage give him a unique vantage of the world around him. He loved to read and write as a youngster and spent much of his youth doing just that in a small log cabin that he built himself while he worked for the state parks service.

He ventured into civilization from his secluded abode in the wilderness to study various things as Anthropology, Business Management and Engineering. He worked for an international engineering firm until his interests in writing again surfaced to produce his first published novel, "El Rio de las Animas Perdidas en Purgatorio."

In his writing, he likes to explore an interplay of ancient aboriginal mythology, Western way of life, and superstitions with modern civilization, advancement in technology, and late multicultural influences on spirituality. The result is an original matrix of plots and concepts written with a down-to-earth tone that also compliments a technical side. Robert Stump has several books "brewing" in his varied melting pot of manuscripts, and we shall see much more of this author.
