Gale Laure

Gale Laure is an international selling author. Her debut novel is "Evolution of a Sad Woman", a mystery,suspense, thriller, romance. She lives in the Houston area with her family and friends. Her life includes her family, friends and attending her church where she sings in the choir.

Gale Laure was born along the Gulf coast of Texas in an area called the "Golden Triangle". She spent her entire childhood in the area.

She became an author late in life after pursuing careers as the business owner of two businesses (a marketing & consulting company and a travel agency), an office manager in a physician's office, a short time in an insurance company, a paralegal and a legal assistant. Little did she know, but she was gaining knowledge and experiences to use in her books. Nothing fulfilled her. So she kept looking. She tried to find her "passion" as she learned on the Oprah show. After discussions with her sister and her oldest best friend, she decided to write. All it took was a prayer. Thus, "Evolution of a Sad Woman" was born. She is also busy on the screenplay of "Evolution of a Sad Woman".

She is currently hard at work on two more novels. "The Bunkhouse"(2015) is a historical, murder mystery, suspense, thriller, romance with a sci-fi twist. "Alana---Evolution of a Woman" is the sequel to her first (current) novel, "Evolution of a Sad Woman". It is a murder, mystery, suspense, thriller, romance.
