Karl Maydell

Having grown up in a religious home, the author has always maintained a good standard towards his fellow humans. He demonstrated that in his adult life, serving in the active Canadian military, and receiving several notable decorations, including the Order of St. John (SBSTJ).

The eight points of the Maltes Cross, the symbol of the Order, signify the beatitudes to which he adheres: Humility, Compassion, Courtesy, mercy, Purity, Devotion, peace, and Endurance. With these virtues firmly in place, he went into service of our Lord, Jesus Christ. After extensive university studies finished with a Masters degree in Theology, and after several years received an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity.

His point of view in these Bible-Study-Commentaries, in respect to what the Bible says, God's word, it seems he is somewhat blunt, but he feels it has to be that way sometimes, to make an impression on the unwary. Not everyone may like how he translates some Bible-Passages, but he spells out the truth, based principally on God's word, without distorting God's meaning for all.
