I teach lean and six sigma and also consult on those topics. I enjoy problem solving and wrote my book after many students urged me to do it. My classes are primarily low cost and intended for people who buy their own training such as the unemployed and those who work for companies who don't provide employee training. I also do all of my classes in-house for companies as well. Lean and Six Sigma are simply useful tool sets and methodologies which can be used to solve a wide variety of business problems. I'm an engineer so solving problem is in my nature. These days most problems I'm presented with don't involve manufacturing or engineering but the problem solving techniques work just as well anyplace. Our book is focused on applying them to the IT world and describing how they can fit in with other IT topics. I'm always happy to dialog with anyone about this and will be quick to tell you if I don't know something.
