Ted Cohen

Ted Cohen spent 30 years as a Maine newspaper reporter on a number of beats with the Portland Press Herald, including the Bush "summer White House" in Kennebunkport.

Cohen, a Vermont native, has a journalism degree from the University of Vermont.

After a brief stint in radio news in his hometown, he began stringing for a Vermont newspaper. Cohen's drive to be a full-time newspaperman led him to Maine's largest newspaper group.

Cohen is a blogger. He is a member of the National Writers Union and a past president of the Vermont Associated Press Broadcasters Association.

"A friend called me one day and said, 'Ted, you need to write an historical novel on Bush. You were at the scene of the crime!'"

The result is "Derision Points - Clown Prince Bush the W. The Real Story of his 'Decision Points.'"
