Janice H. Hoffman

Janice Holt Hoffman is a certified Clinical Exercise Specialist with advanced training in fitness guidance for special populations.

As a faculty member of the American Council on Exercise (ACE), she presented workshops throughout the Western United States designed to help aspiring fitness leaders prepare for upcoming certification exams, and help certified fitness professionals develop quality leadership skills. She was honored to lead training sessions with Native American tribal leaders for ACE's Diabetes Prevention Program.

She was a project director for clinical research studies at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon for 10+ years, working on breast cancer survivorship studies and chronic pain research studies, with a special focus on Fibromyalgia. She served on the Fibromyalgia Information Foundation board for eight years and choreographed six of their exercise work-out videos.
