Charles Travis

Charles Travis received a PhD in Geography from Trinity College Dublin (TCD) in 2006. His interests include literary, historical, cultural and physical geography and geographical information systems science studies. Charles is an Associate Professor of Geography and GIS with the Department of History and Geography at the University of Texas, Arlington and a Visiting Research Fellow with the Trinity Centre of Environmental Humanities at TCD. He is an editorial board member of the Springer Press Historical Geography and Geosciences Series and the journal, Literary Geography. Charles' work also appears in the Annals of the Association of American Geographers, Encyclopedia of Human Geography, Quaternary Research, Global and Planetary Change, International Journal of Geographical Information Science, Historical Geography and other journals.
