HEIDI CLINGEN, co-author of TheSmartestWay(tm) to Save--Why You Can't Hang on to Money and What to Do About It, has a twenty-five-year background in journalism, editing, and writing. She earned a bachelor's in journalism, magna cum laude, from San Francisco State University, and held staff titles and editor positions at The Apparel News Group in Los Angeles and The Wall Street Journal in New York, where she received a Dow Jones Foundation Fellowship.
