Celeste Louise Smith

Born in Seattle and growing up in California I moved back to the Seattle area in 1998. Being a great lover of Seattle history it was not hard for me to co-author a book on Seattle's private clubs. "Private Clubs of Seattle" tells of the founding of nine of the city's most prominent clubs.I grew up enjoying club life, and still am a member of some of Seattle's oldest and most interesting clubs today where I participate fully in all aspects of membership. My next book will be on a much different subject as I have spent the last year and a half in treatment for breast cancer. I will chronicle my journey through breast cancer and beyond.I hope to speak of the struggles and gifts I received during this tumultous and most challanging passage in my life.
