David W. Chadwell

David has worked in education since 1992. He started in a Quaker school for three years, helped start a middle school program at an international school in Tianjin, China, and taught for five years as a public school social studies teacher. In 2004 David begin work in the field of single-gender education. He helped start a single-gender middle school magnet program in Columbia, South Carolina. Three years later he became the first, and only, state level coordinator for single-gender initiatives. He continues to serve in this role as well as consulting with schools across the country on how to start single-gender programs, training teachers, and conducting site visits. He also presents at state and national conferences.
