Cary Schmidt

Cary Schmidt serves as the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Newington, Connecticut.

He and his wife, Dana, have been blessed with thirty-four years of marriage and ministry together. Cary's passion is to love God, love his family, and point people to Jesus through teaching, preaching, and writing. He hosts the "Growing in the Gospel" YT channel with daily Bible teaching and the "Leading in the Gospel" podcast to encourage Gospel-shaped leadership.

He has written fifteen books, including Done, Steady Strength, Stop Trying, Live Lighter—Love Better, Off Script, Passionate Parenting, Real Christianity, and others.
