Marcus D Peterson

Marcus Peterson was born in Shreveport, La, and was raised in Logansport, La, and holds an MBA in Business Management from American Intercontinental University, in Hoffman Estates, Il. He is the author of two acclaimed books of poetry, Humble Beginnings, Poems of Reality, Pain, and Hope, and Still Humble, Stay on Track. In 2006 for the contribution of his books of poetry, Marcus was awarded the prestigious "Tech Triumph" award from Louisiana Tech University. Mr. Peterson works in management for the United States Small Business Administration.
