Dan Taylor

Perennial 12 year-old raised on '70s Saturday morning cartoons & action figures who writes half-baked hypotheses & boiled-over brainstorms. He is a stay-at-home-dad who tries to write when his daughter goes down for naps and/or for the night. His first children's book "Introducing Little Miss Jelly Bean" was inspired by his daughter. Dan wrote and co-created "Hero Happy Hour" with artist Chris Fason--a comic book that has been referred to by many as "'Cheers' with capes." He also co-created "Donald of The Dead" with artist Fason. He has also served as editor with IDW Publishing with such titles as "Transformers" and "Star Trek." He has also written the comic book "Pirat Tales: Legend of the Cat O' Nine Tails" and adapted stories for "Cory Doctrow's Futurist Tales of the Here and Now" and "Completely Doomed." Dan Taylor is a native of Orange County, CA, where he lives with his wife, the aforementioned daughter, two dogs, a cat, and rotating goldfish.
