Lynne Everatt

When she was a little girl Lynne Everatt loved the comedian George Carlin and the skit comedy of Monty Python, so when she became an adult Lynne naturally decided to pursue a graduate degree in business administration. After fifteen years in the pharmaceutical industry she couldn't take the joke any longer and returned to university to study English and Philosophy. Her first book, the satirical EMails from the Edge, was nominated for the Leacock Award for Humour and landed her a stint writing a column for Canada's national newspaper The Globe and Mail. Her second book Drink Wine and Giggle written with her girlfriends, Deb Mangolt and Julie Smethurst, features a unique "memoirish" spin on the self-help genre. Both books are true to the author's irreverent comedic spirit.
