Rob Preece

Rob Preece discovered writing while laid off from his job in telecommunications. Since then, he's written fantasy, science fiction, paranormal romance and a romance about bicycling.

When he's not writing, Rob runs a small publishing company, plays semi-serious bridge (he's working on completing his life master requirements), is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, brews up an occasional batch of home-brewed beer, and likes to go on long distance bicycling trips (his latest was the C&O Canal route from western Maryland to Washington D.C.

Rob spent 25 years in Dallas, Texas but recently moved to Long Beach, California where he lives with his wife, writer Kara Lennox, near downtown, rides his bike rather than driving a car, and studies Taiji (Tai Chi). He's currently working on a near-future SF tale.
